Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of an installation space for air blowing means that blows air to an image forming part, compared with a case where blowing means takes air in through an opening provided facing the outside of an apparatus body and guides the air to an image forming part through guide means.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: an image forming part including image forming devices that form images on photoreceptor drums; a bottom plate 109 that is adjacent to the image forming part inside an apparatus body and partitions between the image forming part and a sheet storage body 31 storing recording sheets to be fed to the image forming part; and an air blowing fan 92 that is arranged in an opening 91 provided in the bottom plate 109 and blows air from the sheet storage body 31 toward the image forming part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
