Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire that exerts excellent rolling resistance performance even when highly frequently travelling a short distance.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire includes: vulcanizing a pneumatic tire including a tread part 1 extending in a tire circumferential direction and forming an annular shape, a pair of side wall parts 2 arranged on each side of the tread part 1 and a pair of bead parts 3 arranged on an inside in a tire radial direction of those side wall parts 2; and then forming a coating layer 40 having thermal insulation property at external surfaces of the side wall parts 2 of the post-vulcanized pneumatic tire, as an additional member that is optionally provided later.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
