Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate useless power loss and to reduce noise level by a blower, by controlling cooling amount by the blower in accordance with the calorific value from the main body of a rotary machine calculated from the load factor, speed and the like of the main body of the rotary machine. CONSTITUTION:Each output of a current transformer 6 detecting each of the primary current, power frequency, and the number of turns of a motor 1 controlled in a variable speed manner by a variable speed power unit 9, and a transformer 10, and a pulse generator 11 is fed into a controlling device 12. The controlling device 12 calculates generated heat by copper loss, iron loss, and stray loss generated in a motor 1 by referring to each control input and in accordance with the result, the controlling device 12 performs speed control for a fan 4 driving motor 5 to obtain the minimum cooling air amount maintaining the generation of heat from the motor 5 within an allowable range. In this way, useless power consumption can be eliminated and noise level can be reduced.
