PURPOSE: To provide a titled guide for rolling which averts twists and product defects with rolling with caliber rolls effectively by passing the material to be rolled between the caliber rolls or between flat rolls and the caliber rolls through ≥2 sets of roller guide passes and guiding the material to the caliber roll passes.
CONSTITUTION: The material 14 rolled with oval calibers 15, 15' is passed through a guide combined with an another pair of rollers 18, 18' provided for preventing twists behind shaping rollers 16, 16',whereby rolling troubles are averted. Equal objects are achieved with the rollers 18, 18' having approximately the same shap and size as those of the rollers 16, 16' and also with the rollers differing from the said rollers, for example, horizontal rollers. As a result, the twists of the material to be rolled is prevented, all the product defects with rolling with caliber rolls are averted effectively, the original unit of the rolls in rolling of bar steel is reduced and the efficiency of rolling is markedly improved.
