NEW MATERIAL:The organophosphoric acid ester derivative of formulaI[R1 and R2 are lower alkyl; R3 is 1W4C alkyl, cyclohexyl, group of formula II (X is halogen or lower alkyl; n is 0, 1 or 2) or alkoxycarbonylmethyl].
EXAMPLE: O-ethyl-S-sec-butyl-O-( 2, 2-dichloro-1-phenylthiovinyl )-phosphorothiolate.
USE: An insecticidal, miticidal, nematocidal and fungicidal agent having broad insecticidal spectrum, and effective especially to lepidopterous vermin and phosphate-resistant vermin. It has low toxicity to mammals, fish and shellfish, and applicable by various methods.
PROCESS: The compound of formulaIis prepared e.g. by reacting the compound of formula III with the trichloroethanol compound of formula IV in a solvent such as diethyl ether in the presence of an acid acceptor (2 equivalent) such as tert-amine, etc.
