Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6120727
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
A clamping sleeve, made of rigid polyamide, for holding and guiding cables and pipes passing through narrow partitions, consists of a sleeve part with a hexagon and a conical apron at one end and a male thread at the other end. Two opposite strips at the latter end have instead of the threads a cut-out with a wedge-shaped finger. The second part is a nut, made of the same material, with a mirror-image conical apron and a female thread. Engagement of the nut will press the fingers inward and clamp them against the cable or pipe. This clamping sleeve suits articles of varying diameter and partitions of varying thickness.
