Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent inclination of a belt by using a peripheral thread comprising left-lay and right-lay multifilaments arranged in a row in a conveyer using a cylindrical textile as tensile element. CONSTITUTION:A conveyer belt comprises a cylindrical double weaving textile 6 and a synthetic resin coating layer 7 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the textile. The cylindrical textile 6 comprises a peripheral thread formed by a pair of polyester left-lay multifilament 10 and right-lay filament 11 which are arranged parallel and adjoining to each other and monofilament 12 arranged widthwise. Since the lay of the filament is not one-sided unlike the conventional filament, the belt will not be biased to one side, and it is improved in a large scale in its strength.
