Abstract:
ここで開示される排ガス浄化用触媒は、内燃機関の排気管に配置されており、内燃機関から排出される排ガスに含まれる窒素酸化物を浄化する排ガス浄化用触媒であって、担体としてのアルミナと該アルミナに担持された銀とを少なくとも含んだ銀アルミナ触媒を備えている。そして、上記銀アルミナ触媒は、ピリジンIR法における波数1613cm−1のピーク強度に対する波数1595cm−1のピーク強度の比率が0.3以上であり、かつ、銀アルミナ触媒全体を100wt%とした場合の銀の担持量が1.0wt%〜6.0wt%である。
