Abstract:
A network monitoring system is provided with a server device that manages information
of an optical transmission device in a ring structured network and a client device
that at least confirms a setting change of the optical transmission device and
its device condition. A first protocol is used between the server device and
the client device and a second protocol is used between the server device and the
optical transmission device, wherein the first protocol and the second protocol
are different from each other.The server device includes a conversion unit that
carries out a mutual conversion between the first protocol and the second protocol.
