Abstract:
Provided is a refrigeration device for performing multistage compression in parallel by multiple compressors, which achieves an improvement in the reliability of the refrigeration device by reliably starting a subsequent compressor. Two single-shaft two-stage compressors (3c, 3d) which are connected in parallel discharge a refrigerant from discharge ports of preceding-stage-side compression elements (3dm, 3cn) to an intermediate pressure passage (7) and suck the refrigerant into suction ports of subsequent-stage-side compression elements (3cn, 3dn) from the intermediate pressure passage (7).  Oil separation mechanisms (21, 22) are provided as pressure equalization passages for equalizing the pressures of the discharge port and the suction port of the subsequent-stage-side compression element (3cn, 3dn) of one of the compressors (3c, 3d) which is stopped when the other is already started.  The oil separation mechanisms (21, 22) connect a discharge passage (3b) and the intermediate pressure passage (7) by oil separators (21a, 22a), pressure reduction mechanisms (21b, 21b), and oil return pipes (21c, 22c).
