Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:2-[2-(Aminoethylthio)]ethyltrimethylsilane shown by the formula I.
USE: An antitumor agent. Having low toxicity to the human body and strong antitumor actions.
PROCESS: Vinyltrimethylsilane shown by the formula II is reacted with 2-mercaptoethylamine shown by the formula III in the presence of a polar organic solvent, e.g., THF, etc. and a photosensitizer, e.g., benzophenone, etc. while being irradiated with light rays rich in ultraviolet region light, to give a reaction product, which is distilled to give a compund shown by the formula I. The reaction temperature is preferably in a range from 10W60°C usually.
