NEW MATERIAL:A polycondensation product through dehydration of a compound shown by the formula I (R1 and R2 are lower alkyl, link with adjoining N to form a group shown by the formula II (R is H, lower alkyl, etc.; Y is N, CH, etc.; n is 1, 2, 3); A is lower alkylene; R3 is lower alkyl).
EXAMPLE: A fumarate of polycondensation product through dehydration of P-(N- methyl-3-dimethylaminopropionylamino)phenyl germanium trigydroxide.
USE: Effective for remedying rheumatism, cancer, hypertension, etc. Having immune activating action, hypotensive action, and anti-inflammatory action.
PROCESS: A polycondensation product through dehydration of a compound shown by the formula III [X is active ester residue(especially Br or Cl)] is reacted with a compound shown by the formula IV in a solvent, e.g., methanol, etc. at room temperature to the boiling point of the solvent to be used for tens of minutes to ten and several hours, and, if necessary, in the presence of a deoxidizer, to give a compound shown by the formula I.
