Title:
2 terminal multi-course stochastic resonance element
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6108381
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-terminal multipath probability resonance element in which a compact element structure is achieved, by connecting a large number of nonlinear response system of very small size, having nonlinear response characteristics and exhibiting noise generation effect, in parallel between two terminals.SOLUTION: A two-terminal multipath probability resonance element includes a pair of terminal electrodes (2, 3) arranged to face each other while holding a gap (4) therebetween, a plurality of electrical conduction paths (5) bridging the pair of terminal electrodes, and a single-molecule junction (6) composed of an organometallic complex connecting both ends of the electrical conduction path and the terminal electrode. The organometallic complex has charge transfer characteristics which show nonlinear response based on the oxidation-reduction reaction in an electric field, and has a noise generation effect based on the structural fluctuation of molecules under room temperature.
