PURPOSE: To easily operate abacus practice by successively reading aloud numerical data for abacus practice read from an IC card by a speech synthesizing and informing device at the time of selecting read-aloud calculation, and successively displaying the data on a display device at the time of written-down calculation.

CONSTITUTION: Numerical data for abacus practice stored in an IC card 4 are read by an IC card reading part 5, and inputted to a control part 7. The inputted numerical data are outputted to a display device 2 at the time of written-down calculation, and outputted as a voice through a speech synthesizing part 8 and an amplifier 9 from a speaker 10 at the time of reading-aloud calculation based on a selection switch signal of a control part 3. Thus, the abacus practice at the time of reading-aloud calculation and written-down calculation can be easily operated.
