Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance type opening and closing door in which an abnormality can be detected with a high degree of sensitivity.
SOLUTION: An endless chain 10 is wound around an upper drive sprocket in an opening and closing machine and a lower sprocket on the driven side with a slack between these sprockets, and a pair of tension sprockets 14, 15 are provided in order to take up a slack. These sprockets 14, 15 are journalled to a movable frame 13 which is movable crossing a coaxial line L connecting between the axial centers of the first gear 9b of the upper sprocket and the drove sprocket. Next, the movable frame 13 is provided with a pair of resilient return elements 19, 20 for returning the movable frame 13 to a neutral position. With this arrangement, when the movable frame 13 moves in the X-axial direction from the neutral position, only one 19 of the resilient return elements 19, 20 is energized while the other one 20 thereof is held to be free.
