To provide an abnormality detection circuit capable of detecting abnormalities accurately even in abnormal operation.
The abnormality detection circuit comprises: a detection circuit 100 for outputting a detection signal according to a change in a physical quantity; a comparison circuit 300 for comparing the output of the detection circuit 100 with a reference voltage 310; an abnormality discrimination circuit 400, where a first switching circuit 410 operated by non-inverted output of the comparison circuit 300 and a first voltage-dividing resistor 420 connected in series with the first switching circuit 410 are connected in parallel with a second switching circuit 430 operated by inverted output of the comparison circuit 300 and a second voltage-dividing resistor 440 connected in series with the second switching circuit 430; and a pull-up resistor 500 of which one end is connected to a supply voltage Vcc and the other end 520 is connected to the first and second voltage-dividing resistors 420, 440.
