PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection device for an elevator power failure lamp that enables proper discrimination of abnormal factors, when determining abnormality of the power failure lamp by a state confirmation of the power failure lamp by using a monitoring camera.SOLUTION: In the abnormality detection device for a power failure lamp, in a power failure state where the supply of a power source power 7a from a commercial power source 7 is interrupted, a power failure detection power source switching device 8 supplies a discharge power 9a from a battery 9 to a power failure lamp 2 and in addition, to a monitoring camera 4 and a monitoring camera device 5. The camera 4 transmits camera image capturing signals 103 indicating an imaging result including a lighting state of the power failure lamp 2 to the camera device 5. The camera device 5 records camera images that are results of image processing of the signal 103, and at a time of power supply restoration from a commercial power source 7, transmits camera image signals indicating camera images to a camera image record determination part 11, which has an image analysis function, provided in an elevator control device 10. The data determination part 11 performs an image analysis on the basis of the camera image signals, and determines the abnormalities of the battery 9, the power failure lamp 2, the camera 4, or the camera device 5 according to a type.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
