Title:
ABSORPTION HEAT PUMP APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01102259
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To ensure operation without changing the fluid amount of a refrigerant in a second refrigerant pump and also without returning a high temperature liquid refrigerant in a second evaporator to a first evaporator by providing a liquid refrigerant replenishment apparatus in the second evaporator, and connecting the liquid refrigerant replenishment apparatus to the first evaporator.

CONSTITUTION: A liquid refrigerant is sucked up by a second refrigerant pump 25 from a bottom of a first evaporator 5, a part of which flows onto a partition plate 12 and down along a heat transfer pipe 10, and is heated and evaporated. The evaporated refrigerant passes through a low pressure vapor pipe 20 and is sent to a first absorber 8. In a heat transfer pipe 11 of a second evaporator 9 the liquid refrigerant is evaporated into high pressure vapor with heating from the absorber 8, and passes through a high pressure vapor pipe 21 up to a second absorber 6. Thereby, the liquid refrigerant in the evaporator 9 is reduced, and a liquid level in a liquid refrigerant replenishment apparatus 35 is lowered to open a float valve 36 whereby the liquid refrigerant is replenished from a third liquid refrigerant pipe 26. When the liquid level of the liquid refrigerant in the evaporator 9 is raised, the float valve 36 is closed and the liquid refrigerant is overflowed from the refrigerant replenishment apparatus 36 and hence the liquid refrigerant is prevented from flowing into the high pressure vapor pipe 21.
