To prevent pump lock of an absorption liquid pump by suppressing deposition of a corrosion inhibitor contained in absorption liquid in a double effect absorption refrigerating machine in particular.
An absorption refrigerating machine includes a bypass pipe line 19 for returning a part of concentrated absorption liquid sent from a concentrated absorption liquid pump 10 to the concentrated absorption liquid pump 10 after the same passes through a low-temperature heat exchanger 7. In the absorption refrigerating machine, a trap 29 is provided on a downstream side of the low-temperature heat exchanger 7 in a pipe line which supplies concentrated absorption liquid from a low-temperature regenerator 2 to an absorber 5 via the low-temperature heat exchanger 7 by the concentrated absorption liquid pump 10, and on this side of the bypass pipe line 19. The trap 29 has a function of separating the corrosion inhibitor deposited in the concentrated absorption liquid.
