PURPOSE: To provide an absorption type cold/warm water machine having a liquid sprinkler in which a liquid film can be uniformly formed on a horizontal heat transfer tube from a small liquid amount to a large liquid amount, a flowing liquid film can be uniformly formed, and a high heat transfer can be performed.
CONSTITUTION: The absorption type cold/warm water machine comprises a scattering duct 21 disposed in parallel with a horizontal heat transfer tube 32 on the tube 32 and having a plurality of liquid distribution orifices 22, and a plurality of metal gauzes 23 so provided as to enclose the outside of the duct 21. An end of the gauze 23 is sagged down to form fins 25, the ends 25 are so disposed at ends as to be brought into contact with upper part of the tube 32, and a liquid sprinkling plate 27 is provided over the orifices 22.
