Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the erroneous learning due to a temporary cause such as pedal rising and improve productivity by shortening initial learning when shipped from a factory in learning output at the accel totally closing position of an accel pedal sensor.
SOLUTION: When continuous time CAPSCL reaches a specified learning renewal cycle TAPSCL (S7) in the state that a sensor output moving average value AVAPS is smaller than a totally closing learning vales APSCL (S4), the totally closing learning value APSCL is renewed based on the sensor output moving average value AVAPS (S10). When the totally closing learning cumulative time TAPS is within a specified time APSINI after the turning of the ignition switch to ON, the learning renewal cycle TAPSCL is set to a relatively short cycle TAPSCLH (S2), and after that, the learning renewal cycle TAPSCL is set to a relatively long cycle TAPSCLL (S3).
