Title:
ACCELERATING DEVICE FOR CARBURETOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3504779
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the accelerating device for a carburetor, which makes the stroke of a piston larger, and allows a throttle valve shaft to be rightly operated.
SOLUTION: A cam 21a is formed out of a cut-out surface, and of an axis circumferential surface in the portion of a throttle valve shaft 21 located in the inside of a barrel of a carburetor main body B. A cylinder 22 perpendicularly intersected with the throttle valve shaft 21 is formed in the inside of the barrel, a piston to be engaged with the cam 21a is fitted in the cylinder 22. Fuel is sucked in the cylinder 22 out of a constant pressure fuel chamber 31 by the piston which reciprocates while following the rotation of the throttle valve shaft 21, and is forwarded to a high speed fuel injection port 24 through an accelerating passage in the inside of the barrel. A ball 26 is interposed between the cam 21a and the piston, and the force of the cam 21a is so designed as to be transmitted to the piston via the ball 26.
