To enable the accelerator operation to be performed by a fellow passenger while enabling an occupant to perform the accelerator operation by constituting an accelerator lever capable of performing the accelerator operation by gripping a handle grip of an operation handle and the accelerator lever together on the handle grip of that it may be freely attached and detached.

Since a voltage value of a detecting electric signal of a potentiometer 14 is changed after a detecting lever 15 of the potentiometer 14 is displaced and operated, a controller drives and controls an electric motor on the basis of the voltage value of the detecting electric signal. The driving speed of the electric motor, namely, the car speed is increased according to gripping of an accelerator lever 13. When there is a fellow passenger in the same cart, and when the fellow passenger operates the cart, a pinching mounting fitting 18 is removed from a right handle grip 12, the fellow passenger holds an accelerator lever unit 17, suitably oscillates the accelerator lever 13, and performs the accelerator operation of an electric cart.
