Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accretion removal device that can fully remove an accretion on a railway vehicle.SOLUTION: A snow removal device 10 for removing an accretion (snow accretion) adhering to a lower part of a railway vehicle 100 comprises a high pressure pump, a jet nozzle 13, a driving unit 14, and a controller. The jet nozzle 13 jets out water sent by the high pressure pump toward a part, to which the accretion adheres, of the lower part of a vehicle body of the parked railway vehicle 100. The driving unit 14 moves the jet nozzle 13 along the front-rear direction of the railway vehicle 100, and also rotates the jet nozzle 13 independently around the rotation centers of first and second rotation-axis lines L1 and L2, both axis lines of which are different from the axial direction of the jet nozzle 13.
