Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an accumulator having high durability and long life, by a method wherein an elastic thin-filmlike bladder for the accumulator is formed of a composite layer constituted of a barrier layer made of an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer having a specific flexural modulus and an elastic layer comprised of a forming material having a specific flexural modulus and coming into contact with the barrier layer.
CONSTITUTION: An accumulator 20 is constituted of an upper split shell 20a, a lower split shell 21 and an elastic thin-filmlike bladder 22 for the accumulator, which divides this inner space into two chambers. Then the bladder 22 for the accumulator contains a composite layer constituted of a barrier layer 1 comprised of ethyelne-vinyl alcohol copolymer having the bending modulus of elasticity of 18000-33000kgf/cm2 and an elastic layer 2 which is comprised of a forming material having the flexural modulus of 1000-10000dgf/cm2 and formed under a state coming into contact with the barrier layer 1 as a film forming element. With this construction, even if bending is repeated, it becomes that a crack is not generated in the barrier layer 1 in the bladder and life of the accumulator becomes long drastically.
