Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic processing device capable of generating a desired sound field even in a hearing environment where an indirect sound is generated.SOLUTION: The acoustic processing device includes: a measuring section which outputs measuring sounds from a plurality of speakers and measures a direction of arrival of the indirect sound with respect to the outputted measuring sounds; a generation section for generating an adjusting sound for adjusting the indirect sound; and an adjusting sound adding section for adding the adjusting sound generated by the generation section to sounds outputted from the speakers in a distribution ratio based on the direction of arrival. In the case where the direction of arrival of the indirect sound is the front, for example, the adjusting sounds are distributed to right and left speakers in the distribution ratio of 1:1, and the adjusting sounds are made come from the same direction as the direction of arrival of the indirect sound. Thus, the acoustic processing device is capable of varying a level of the indirect sound. The acoustic processing device is also capable of widening a sound image of the indirect sound by making the adjusting sounds come from a direction that is slightly deviated from the direction of arrival of the indirect sound.
