Abstract:
To provide an active energy ray-curable overprint varnish having antibacterial and antiviral performance.SOLUTION: There are provided an active energy ray-curable overprint varnish containing an active energy ray-curable compound as a main component, wherein in an X-ray diffraction pattern obtained by plotting a diffraction line strength relative to a diffraction angle of 2θ by Cu-Kα rays, a titanium oxide containing a titanium oxide having a content of a crystalline rutile-type titanium oxide that is a titanium oxide having a full width at half maximum of the strongest diffraction peak corresponding to a rutile-type titanium oxide of 0.65 degrees or less of 50 mol% or more, and a divalent copper compound are contained in an amount of 0.05-15 mass% with respect to the total amount of a varnish content; and a paper base material or a plastic base material using the same.SELECTED DRAWING: None
