Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for converting an (inactivated) protein without having biological activities caused from the absence of an acitive three- dimensional structure or all other reasons into an active protein extremely easily and in a short time, and an apparatus for the same.
SOLUTION: A non-natural type protein prepared in a biologically inactive condition is converted into a biologically active natural type protein by contacting with a cultured cell of an organism. This method effectively can convert the non-natural type protein into the active natural type protein thus, when applying this activation process to a cultured product of a transformant, the yield of the objective natural type protein can be increased.
