PURPOSE: To accurately detect a vibration input object for hydraulically controlling the vibration damping force of a hydraulic-pressure sustaining means to the optimum, even if a vehicle body is oscillating up and down, by subjecting the detection signal from a vibration-input detection means to filtering processing for eliminating the bad influence due to the vertical oscillation of the vehicle body.
CONSTITUTION: The detection signal of a preview sensor 33 is supplied to a band-pass filter circuit 30a, and the signal value of a vertical G sensor 31 is supplied to the filter circuit 30a. The filter circuit 30a sets a filter-peak frequency in response to the vertical acceleration of a vehicle body detected by the vertical G sensor 31, and filtering processing is carried out by multiplying the detection signal of the preview sensor 33 by the frequency characteristic gain being determined in response to this filter-peak frequency. Thus, the signal in which the detection error signal that has been superposed by the vertical movement of the vehicle body has been removed is supplied to a processing and shaping circuit 30b for being compared with a prescribed judging value, and when the signal value is larger than the judging value, a preview control signal is supplied to a control logic circuit 30c.
