Abstract:
To provide an actuator for an optical pickup in which the number of wires are decreased, sensitivity at the time of fine adjustment of an object lens is improved, the number of parts are decreased, and assembling work is made easy.
A lens holder 24 holding an object lens 6 is supported movably by four wires 23a, 23b, 23c and 23d each having spring rigidity for a dumper base 22 fixed to an actuator base 21. This actuator is provided with a plurality of coils shifting the lens holder to the actuator base. The three wires 23a, 23b and 23c out of the wires are used as electric feeders of the coils, the remaining one wire 23d is used as a ground line for these coils.
