Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive which is used for plastics, hardly bleeds out from a formed article, to give a hydrophilic surface and improve the surface active properties such as a dripping effect, an anti-fogging effect, a water drop stucking resistance and an antistatic effect.
SOLUTION: This additive for the plastic to hydrophilize the surface of a plastic formed article is a copolymer having (A) a polyalkylene oxide chain having a 2 to 4 C alkylene group containing an at least 2C alkylene group and (B) a hydrophobic polymer chain, wherein the polyalkylene oxide chain (A) is contained in an amount of 5 to 95 wt.% in the copolymer and has a weight-average mol.wt. of 1,000 to 1,000,000.
