To provide an adhesive composition that has high shear bond strength, peel bond strength, and impact bond strength, and also especially excels in thermal cycling resistance of bond strength.

The adhesive composition contains (a) 2-cyanoacrylate, (b) a thermoplastic urethane elastomer, and (c) fumed silica. Assuming that (a) the 2-cyanoacrylate is 100 pts.mass, (b) the thermoplastic urethane elastomer is 2-30 pts.mass, and (c) the fumed silica is 1-20 pts.mass. Preferably the thermoplastic urethane elastomer has polyester polyol or polycarbonate polyol as a constituent unit.
