To provide an adhesive tape for self-adhesion suitable as an adhesive tape for binding and bag sealing, which has a reasonable adhesive force and a sufficient self-adhesive force, is excellent in hand-cuttability, water resistance and weatherability, and is also excellent in designability.
The adhesive tape for self-adhesion comprises a printed layer, a rear surface treated layer, a tape substrate layer, and an adhesive layer, wherein the tape substrate is a Japanese paper substrate containing 50 to 95 wt.% of a pulp, and prepared by mixing the pulp with 5 to 50 wt.% of one or more fibers selected from Manila hemp, kenaf, vinylon, rayon, polyester, polyamide and acryl; the printed layer of a water-resistive ink is provided on the rear surface treated layer side of the Japanese paper substrate; and on the opposite surface to the rear surface treated layer, the adhesive layer is provided which contains 100 pts.wt in terms of solid content of a (meth)acrylic polymer emulsion containing an alkyl (meth)acrylate of -70 to 10°C in Tg as a main component and 3 to 100 pts.wt in terms of solid content of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion.
