PURPOSE: To facilitate application of a hologram to various articles by providing a volume phase type hologram film on a base material whose rear face an adhesive or a viscous layer is provided on.
CONSTITUTION: A viscous type hologram consists of a base material 1, a hologram film 2 provided on the upper face of the base material 1, and an adhesive layer (or viscous layer) 3 provided on the lower face of the base material. A resin, a metal, ceramics, paper, or the like can be used as materials of the base material 1, and a sheet having a proper flexibility is preferable and a transparent base material is especially preferable as the base material. The film 2 where a prescribed image is formed is laminated on the base material 1 and prescribed exposure and development processings are performed. Various volume phase type holograms where a desired image is recorded are used as the film 2. The base material 1 may be dyed in a proper color. A layer 4 consisting of a metal or a metal oxide may be provided between the base material 1 and the film 2 for the purpose of improving the viscosity or a protective layer 5 may be provided on the surface.
