PURPOSE: To enable a progressive and a regressive change of the attenuating characteristic and the attenuating strength by providing a spring working against the pressure medium so as to abut to a pressure intensifier.
CONSTITUTION: When a pressure 14 is loaded through a pressure intensifier 4, a control body 2 cuts the flow of the medium between a bypass 12 and a recessed part 17 against a spring 1 while the only invariable through-hole 18 is left as is it opened. When the control pressure 14 is increased, the spring 1 is curved downward more so as to close a flow cross section between a recessed part 3 of the annular spring 1 projected near an outlet of the bypass 1. In this condition, the invariable through-hole 8 is closed at the same time. When the external pressure 14 and the system pressure are weakened through the bypass 12, the control body 2 can be continuously moved to the spring 1. With this structure, a desirable attenuating characteristic can be obtained. Characteristic can be changed from the regressive characteristic to the progressive characteristic through the straight characteristic so as to adjust the attenuating force through the control pressure.
