Abstract:

To reduce an air gap volume at both of a feeding end (inlet) and a generating end (outlet) for a PSA process whose cycle time is short and quick.

Two vessels 20 and 20' are housed. An intermediate volume V10 collecting the volumes V5, V5' and V8 of noise eliminating devices S1, S1' and S2, the volumes V4 and V7 of distribution pipings and the volume V6 of other air gap source (not shown) is limited in less than about 15-20% of the sum amount of an adsorption bed volume.
