Abstract:

PURPOSE: To anaerobically treat a nitrogen and/or phosphorusdeficient org. waste liq. with the amts. of nitrogen and phosphorus sources to be added reduced or without adding the nitrogen and phosphorus sources if the conditions permit.
CONSTITUTION: A nitrogen and phosphorus-deficient liq. to be treated is introduced into an aeration tank 11 from a liq. line 13, the return sludge from a line 14 is mixed with the activated sludge in the aeration tank 11, aeration is conducted, the activated sludge in the aeration tank 11 is drawn out into an ozone treating tank 21 through a line 22 and brought into contact with the ozone supplied from a line 24, treated with ozone and solubilized, and the ozone-treated sludge is returned to the aeration tank 11 from a line 25. The aerated liq. is introduced into a sludge separation part 12 and separated into solid and liq.
