To provide an aerosol composition for a vacuum cleaner, which contains antibacterial powder to be easily applied effectively to a dust collecting bag in the vacuum cleaner and to provide an aerosol product for the vacuum cleaner, which can be used easily.

This aerosol composition consists of a stock solution containing an antibacterial component in a liquid medium and a propellant consisting of at least one of compressed gas or liquefied petroleum gas and is applied to the inside of the dust collecting bag set in the vacuum cleaner from the suction port of the vacuum cleaner. The stock solution is preferably prepared by dispersing the antibacterial powder being the antibacterial component in the liquid medium. This aerosol product is manufactured by packing the aerosol composition in an aerosol container and is made to be such a throwaway type that the whole stock solution packed in the aerosol container is used once.
