Abstract:

To eliminate the need to trouble a user in setting an AFTR address of a B4 device and to also eliminate the need to distribute a B4 device to which an AFTR address corresponding to each user has been set.

A B4 device 10 receives a DHCP-PD packet from a DHCP-PD server 20 by transmitting a DHCP request to the DHCP-PD server 20. The B4 device 10 determines whether or not an AFTR address is added to the received DHCP-PD packet and, if added, acquires the AFTR address. If the AFTR address is not added to the DHCP-PF packet, on the other hand, AFTR address determination information 300 that the B4 device 10 itself comprises is referenced and the AFTR address is acquired using a prefix length and a prefix value described in the DHCP-PD packet.
