Title:
AGENT FOR REPELLING VERMIN DAMAGE OF WILD ANIMAL AND DISPERSION CONTAINING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3802959
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wild animal vermin damage-repelling agent comprising special microcapsules in which allyl isothiocyanate is encapsulated, exhibiting an excellent residual effect and useful for protecting planted woods from the wild animals.
SOLUTION: This wild animal vermin damage-repelling agent contains microcapsules encapsulating allyl isothiocyanate as an active ingredient. The microcapasule has a core-shell structure wherein the core is covered with the shell. The core is formed from a gel-like polyurethane resin containing the allyl isothicyanate, and the shell is formed from a polyurethane resin. The microcapsules encapsulating the allyl isothiocyanate is preferably dispersed in an aqueous medium. The dispersion may further contain at least one of a water-soluble polyurethane resin and a synthetic resin aqueous emulsion.
