Abstract:
To provide an air blow method of a filter press, serially air-blowing all filter chambers via a communication passage for communicating each filter chamber by supplying high-pressure air from one side of a closed filter plate array.SOLUTION: An air blow method of a filter press includes: serially forming a high-pressure air passage by communicating filter chambers adjacent each other; closing valves disposed in a supply passage of a stock solution and a discharge passage of a filtrate discharge; opening valves disposed in a supply passage and a discharge passage of high-pressure air; supplying high-pressure air from one side of the high-pressure air passage; discharging high-pressure air from the other side of the high-pressure air passage while accumulating gap water of a dehydrated cake of each filter chamber in a filtrate discharge tank; and discharging gap water accumulated in the filtrate discharge tank to the outside after a prescribed time. All supply air amounts can be used without waste for air blow, and the supply air amounts can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
