Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of an air cleaner having cyclone dust collection parts and a filter dust collection part.SOLUTION: An air cleaner 32 includes a base member 41, a filter element 43, a cover member 42, a passage member 44, and a case member 45. The cover member has a filter chamber 70 receiving the filter element 43, a connection chamber 75 extending from the upper part of the filter chamber to the lateral side, a passage chamber 76 provided below the connection chamber and opened downward, a communication hole 72 communicating the passage chamber with the connection chamber, and a suction port 31 communicating the passage chamber with the outside. The passage member and the case member constitute each cyclone dust collection part, and the upper part of an air discharge pipe as an exit thereof is communicated with the communication hole while isolating the connection chamber from the passage chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
