Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an air cleaner capable of being set at a low cost without spoiling the appearance, with the maintenance simplified, excellent in cleaning efficiency and capable of being appropriately used to clean the contaminated air on an elevated road.
CONSTITUTION: This air cleaner is provided with a case 11 of specified capacity, soil 15 placed in the case and permeable to air, an air discharge part 17 embedded in the soil 15, a pipe 19 connecting the opening 501 in the side wall 5 of an elevated road 1 and the air discharge part 17 and a fan 21 for conducting the air from the opening 501 in the side wall 5 to the air discharge part 17 through the pipe 19, the upper face of the case 11 is opened, and the bottom of the case is formed with an air-permeable member.
