Abstract:
PURPOSE: An air compressor is provided to prevent wear and shortening of the life span of a driving gear and a ring leaf spring push rod and to minimize waste of fuel and engine oil. CONSTITUTION: An air compressor comprises a crankshaft(20) movably mounted in a crank chamber(11) of a crankcase(10); a clutch housing(30) axially combined to a horizontal part(21) of the rear of a front end part exposed toward the front of the crankshaft; a ring leaf spring push rod(40) axially combined to a slant part(22) of the middle of the front end part of the crankshaft; a fastening member(40a) fastening to a spiral part of the front of the front end part of the crankshaft to axially fasten the ring leaf spring push rod to the crankshaft; a ring leaf spring(50) mounted between the inside of the clutch housing and the rear of a flange part of the ring leaf spring push rod; a driving gear(60) axially combined to a front end part of the ring leaf sprig push rod; a clutch(70) mounted to a receiving space between the outer peripheral surface side of a shaft tube part of the driving gear and the inner peripheral surface of the clutch housing; a pump piston(91) mounted in a pump chamber(90) orthogonal to the crank chamber; a connecting rod(92) having one end combined to the crankshaft and the other end axially combined to the pump piston; and an air cylinder(80) installed to the rear of the crank chamber to retreat the crankshaft.
