Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of properly controlling capacity, in the air conditioner for treating an indoor latent heat load and a sensible heat load.
SOLUTION: This air conditioner treats the indoor latent heat load and the sensible heat load by using a refrigerating cycle having an inverter compressor 7, and has heat exchangers 3 and 5, an adsorbent, and a control part 2. The adsorbent performs adsorbing operation for adsorbing moisture of passing air whose heat is adsorbed by the heat exchangers 5 and 3 operating as an evaporator and regenerating operation for separating the moisture from the passing air heated by the heat exchangers 3 and 5 operating as a condenser. The control part 2 controls so that the adsorbing operation and the regenerating operation of the adsorbent are switched at a predetermined switching time interval, and performs capacity control of the inverter compressor 7 and change control of the adsorbing operation and a switching time interval so that a predetermined load is preferentially treated among the whole heat load being the sum of the latent heat load and the sensible heat load, the latent heat load and the sensible heat load.
