Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner and its control method capable of performing optimal control in response to an indoor space environment in starting.
SOLUTION: This air conditioner 10 has a first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, a thermistor, humidity sensors 3b and 5b, a temperature sensor 4, an air blowing fan, a compressor, a casing, and a control part 80, and forms a refrigerant circuit. The control part 80 is connected to the temperature sensor 4, the humidity sensors 3b and 5b, a storage part 81, a timer 82, a manual input part 83, air flow passage switching mechanisms 35 to 38, a four-way switching valve 9, and an expansion valve 11. The control part 80 performs preferential control operation for taking preference of any of sensible heat treatment or latent heat treatment in the front stage for starting ordinary operation from starting.
