To provide an air conditioner system and its program updating method that can easily update a program required for the control of an air conditioner even during the operation of the air conditioner.
This air conditioner system comprises: an outdoor unit; at least one indoor unit connected to the outdoor unit by a communication line; a storage part for storing a control program for controlling at least one of the outdoor unit and indoor unit; a communication part carrying out communication with an external host device; and a control part for receiving an updating program required for updating, through the communication part to carry out updating of the control program when there is a request on the updating of the control program from the external host device during the operation of the control program.
