To provide an air conditioner with a ventilation function which includes a dust collector provided on an indoor unit for eliminating suspended dust which requires the largest amount of ventilation among harmful substances a human actively generates, and for eliminating the harmful substances which can not be eliminated by the dust collector and the human actively generates with a small ventilation capacity.
The air conditioner with the ventilation function is a separator type air conditioner provided with the indoor unit including a heat exchanger for an indoor unit for exchanging heat with air, sending air in a room to the heat exchanger for the indoor unit by a blower and blowing out conditioned air in the room, and an outdoor unit including a heat exchanger chamber for an outdoor unit for exchanging heat with the outside air and a compressor for compressing a refrigerant. The air conditioner is provided with the dust collector provided on an upstream of the heat exchanger for the indoor unit of the indoor unit for eliminating the suspended dust in the room, and a ventilator provided on an outer shell of the outdoor unit for exhausting the harmful substances which can not be eliminated by the dust collector.
