A blower 2 for ventilating, a lighting system 3 for lighting an assumed work scope of the user in a ventilated object area, an operation means 4 the user operates, and a control means 5 for stopping operation of the blower and switching the on and off of the lighting system when the user operates the operation means 4 are integrally provided in a casing 1 of a ventilating fan main body. The control means is so structured that switching is performed after a predetermined delay time necessary for completely lighting the lighting system after a current starts to be carried, when the lighting system is switched from an on state to an off state. Thereby, the ventilator with the lighting capable of switching the on and off of the lighting without the operation of the user can be provided.
