To provide an air conditioner which is configured to cause no slide between (a support shaft of) a vertical-blowing-direction changing blade and a rotation shaft, and which performs air flow control by rotating upper and lower blades by using a driving part.
A support shaft 13 on a free end side of an upper blade 5a includes a rugged shape, and inserted into the rotation shaft which includes a rugged shape as well and then mounted with the energizing means, so that the rotation shaft and vertical-blowing-direction changing blade are securely fitted to each other and no slide is caused between the support shaft and rotation shaft for the vertical-blowing-direction changing blade, thereby securely rotating the upper and lower blades by the driving part.
